Dear Parents,
On behalf of Elon University, I welcome new families to
the Elon community. Your son or daughter is joining one
of the finest institutions of higher education in the
country.
The information in the Parent Handbook will help you
plan for the coming academic year. This packet contains
detailed information to ensure a smooth transition to
Elon. Please review it, and feel free to ask questions
when you are on campus or contact us by phone.
It will be helpful to begin planning your student's
visits home and your visits to campus. We encourage
parents not to wait too long to book flights, hotel
reservations, etc., as spaces may be limited due to
periodic regional and university events.
These next few weeks may be joyous, hectic, and perhaps,
at times, tearful. On behalf of all the staff of Student
Life, I pledge our commitment to making your
student's time at Elon a rewarding experience. Our
commitment is to the holistic development of your son or
daughter.

on-call system to assist students and parents in the
