Parents of every Elon University student are part of the Elon Parents Association. Through the Association, parents are invited to share and support their student's university experience. The Association offers parents many opportunities to be a Partner, Advocate, and Investor of the University.
Elon is always looking for parents willing to volunteer on Opening and Family Weekends, at Summer Welcome Events, and through the Admissions Office. To learn more about these opportunities, contact Jake Pope in our Office of Parent Programs. Other opportunities to connect with Elon are through a relationship with the Student Professional Development Center. Parents greatly enhance Elon student and alumni experiences by joining the Elon Job and Mentor Networks. Your career network could provide an Elon student with their summer internship or first job after graduation!
Have a question and want an answer from another parent's perspective? Well, it is as easy as asking a parent! We know that sometimes the best answers come from those with experiences that can relate. At Elon, we have a group of parents ready to help answer your questions best suited to be answered by parents. Email Ask - A - Parent and you will receive an answer from a current Elon parent!
The Elon Parent Bucket List has been compiled for you by some of our current parents and Elon staff. It lists certain items that every Elon parent should take advantage of early on in their child's time at Elon. I encourage you to take some time and look over the list.
We are so glad you and your child have come to Elon! As a parent, we want you to have every opportunity to engage with the University. Elon parents play an integral role in the success of the University and its students. I encourage you to explore the many ways you can engage and contact the Office of Parent Programs should you have any questions or concerns. Welcome to the Elon family!
