Greetings Elon Parents,

Elon is blessed to have an active, dynamic group of parents who are some of the University’s best ambassadors and generous donors. You have entrusted the education of your sons and daughters to us. In return, we want to ensure that you stay connected to the University and enjoy your own Elon experience.

There are many ways for you to stay up to date on the latest campus news, including The Magazine of Elon, This Week@ Elon (our online newsletter) and E-Net, Elon’s news and information Web site (www.elon.edu/e-net). The award-winning, quarterly alumni magazine is mailed to all parents of enrolled students at no charge. It includes stories on University programs and faculty members as well as features on alumni who are making an impact in their professions and communities. You can sign up to receive the latest Elon news and information by e-mail by clicking here.

Another way to stay connected is to attend campus events, including athletics events, cultural programs and Family Weekend. We also invite you to attend an Evening for Elon in your area, which brings parents, alumni and friends together to hear a campus update from President Leo M. Lambert. We will be announcing those dates and locations soon!

The Office of Parent Programs is always exploring new ways for enhancing communication with parents. Please let us know your ideas—you can contact me toll free at 877-784-3566 or at parentprograms@elon.edu.

As some of the University’s most dedicated donors, Elon parents give generously of their time and resources in support of the things that attracted their sons and daughters to Elon—superb faculty, outstanding facilities and quality programs including study abroad, internships and service learning. I hope you will join our community of donors this year with a gift to the Parents Fund, ensuring that Elon remains an exceptional institution that transforms lives.

I look forward to meeting many of you on campus or in your hometowns. You are always welcome to visit me in Johnston Hall, home of the Office of Parent Programs, whenever you are on campus.

Warmest regards,

Maggie Byerly

Director, Office of Parent Programs
