What to Bring

So you’re psyched up and ready to go, but there’s one problem…what do you pack? Well, here’s a list of things you will need, compiled by your facilitators and previous participants. Please fit all items into ONE bag! We will be at the campsite for five days and nights, but you need to pack for six days of activities.

CLOTHES:

Basic, everyday clothes (shorts, shirts, etc.)
Bathing suit
Sweatshirt
Windbreaker
Hat/Cap/Bandanas
Sneakers/hiking boots
Socks -- lots of them
Rain gear
Work clothes for trail work
Clothes for canoeing
Shoes to wear on the river (no flip-flops)

TOILETRIES:

Bring what you need as long as it fits into one bag
Shampoo/conditioner/soap etc.*
Toothbrush/Toothpaste
Towel
Deodorant
Glasses/contacts and solution (if needed)
Prescribed medication (be sure to inform you facilitator of what you have)
* Limited showers will be available.

MISC:

Waterproof camera
Sleeping bag and pillow (if possible)
Tent and tarp (if possible)
Sunglasses
Sun block
Insect repellent
Flashlight
Water bottle
Day Pack
Trash Bag for wet/soiled clothes

DO NOT BRING:

Illegal drugs
Alcohol
Electronic devices
Weapons (camping knives are okay)
Valuables (jewelry, etc.)
