Elon University has long enjoyed the benefits of a strong and consistent graphic identity. Elon adopted its current wordmark typeface in the early 1990s. A graphic identity set was created in 1999 incorporating oak leaves and an acorn, symbols of the university’s name, which is the Hebrew word for oak. Elon’s graphic identity provides visual ties to the university’s beautiful campus and its strong traditions and values.
