Kickbox applications are now closed

We are no longer accepting ideas for Elon Kickbox 2018. We’ll contact the Kickbox recipients in early January 2018 and announce them on the Maker Hub website in February. Stay tuned!

What is Elon Kickbox?

A Kickbox is (literally) a box, stuffed with guidance, resources, and a Visa gift card ($300!) to help you develop and make your idea a reality.

How do I get a Kickbox?

  1. Think of an idea!

    • It could be something that solves a problem in the world, on campus, or in your room. It could be a rough prototype or a nearly-finished product. Need inspiration? Take a look at one of the United Nation’s Global Problems. From custom board games to musical instruments to art, see what Elon students made with a Kickbox in 2016 and 2017
  2. Find a sponsor

    • Identify a faculty or staff member who supports your idea and is willing to be your Kickbox sponsor. You will need to include your sponsor’s name when you apply for a Kickbox. Read Sponsor FAQs.
  3. Apply online

    • Applications for Elon Kickbox 2018 are closed.
