Friends of Kyle Fleischmann ’06 will gather at the NPHC Garden, between Moseley & Ellington Centers, at 10:30 am on Saturday, Nov. 8, for a brief service of remembrance to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Kyle’s disappearance.
Students will also staff a table outside of Rhodes Stadium during the Homecoming football game to raise funds and awareness for the Kyle Fleischmann Foundation. The KFF was organized by Kyle’s friends and family as a way to raise awareness of missing adults and efforts to locate them.
Kyle was last seen leaving Buckhead Saloon in uptown Charlotte, N.C., around 2:20 a.m. on Nov. 9, 2007, and has not been seen or heard from since. The sudden disappearance of Kyle Fleischmann led his family and friends to turn their tragedy into an educational opportunity so that others would know where to go for help and information in the critical first days of a person’s disappearance.
