Drs. Hutchings and Squire published "VisMap: Exploratory Visualization Support for Introductory Data Science and Visualization" in the proceedings of The ACM Technical Symposium on Computer Science Education. Hutchings presented the work at the conference on March 3, 2016, in Memphis.

Aaron Trocki, assistant professor of mathematics, presents original research and receives award at the  National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Annual Research Conference in San Francisco April 11-14, 2016.

The American Society of Biomechanics held the first National Biomechanics Day at universities and resaerch facilities across the country.  The Departments of Physical Therapy and Exercise Science invited local high school students to participate in demonstrations and a tour at the Gerald L. Francis Center on April 13.

Research co-authored by the assistant professor of management information systems examines social media use by women entrepreneurs in Egypt and was published in International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business.
