Seventy-five students and one faculty member were inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa in a ceremony on Feb. 4.

Katie Baker, assistant professor of education, has been awarded a Service, Teaching and Research (STaR) Fellowship through the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators.

The Center for Engaged Learning (CEL) accepted 24 participants for its 2018 - 2020 research seminar on Capstone Experiences.

Associate Professor Barbara Miller Gaither collaborated with Elon graduate MaryClaire Schulz ’17 and University of North Carolina faculty member Lucinda Austin to examine the relationship between corporate social responsibility and social change. 

Eric Hall, professor of exercise science and faculty athletics representative, has been named the inaugural Center for Engaged Learning Senior Scholar.

"Désirée’s Baby," a film to be directed by Artemis Preeshl, has been selected as a finalist for #CreateLouisiana's Narrative Feature grant.

Associate Professor of Dance Lynne Kurdziel-Formato received the award at the organization's 133rd convention held in July 2017. 

Buffie Longmire-Avital was selected as the 2018-20 CEL Scholar to support her exploration of diversity and inclusion in mentored undergraduate research and other high impact practices.

The student-run news organization was honored with eight awards, including four first-place finishes, and several School of Communications graduates were recognized for their professional journalism efforts.
