Elon sophomore Nick Ochsner, president of Elon's College Republicans group, is profiled in this week's edition of the Independent Weekly, a newspaper based in Durham, N.C. Ochsner is attending the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., this week.

Nicole Triche, an instructor in the School of Communications, will have her short film, “Metacarpus,” shown as a part of the Hi Mom! Film Festival opening night screening.

An article jointly authored by assistant professor Glenn W. Scott appears in the newly released  International Encyclopedia of Communication, published by Wiley-Blackwell in conjunction with the International Communication Association.
