Business Fellows visit New York City

Twenty-two Business Fellows, four faculty members from the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, and two staff members from the Student Professional Development Center traveled to New York City to visit various business firms and the New York Stock Exchange September 20-22 as part of an annual fall Business Fellows trip.

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business invites all students, faculty and staff to attend "Take the Job No One Wants" - a presentation by Jim Donald, former CEO of Starbucks and Pathmark Supermarkets and current CEO of Extended Stay America Hotel Chain (the largest wholly owned chain in North America and the 3rd largest in the world), on Wednesday, October 3, at 4:30 p.m. in LaRose Digital Theatre.

Economics and psychology faculty publish paper with alum

Thomas Tiemann, Jefferson Pilot Professor of Economics, and Alan Scott, assistant professor of psychology, along with recent psychology and sociology graduate Katerine Atkins, have published a paper, "Sidewalks, Streets, and Walkability," in Spaces and Flows: An international journal of urban and extraurban studies.
