Aaron Trocki, assistant professor of mathematics presented his research at the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education in Washington, DC on March 26-30, 2018.

The new book by Professor of Mathematics Crista Arangala and Associate Professor of Mathematics Karen Yokley of Elon along with Associate Professor of Mathematics Nicholas Luke of N.C. A&T State University is aimed at exposing a broad audience, including second- and third-year STEM students, to mathematical modeling. 

The honorees are young alumni who have achieved major professional success, serve as difference-makers in their communities and loyally support Elon as partners, advocates and investors.

Aaron Trocki, assistant professor of mathematics, and Maddie Jaudon, applied mathematics major, presented their research at the Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education Conference in San Diego, California on Feb. 22-24, 2018.

The $34,000 grant is from the Colonial Academic Alliance, which seeks to link the colleges and universities that make up the Colonial Athletic Association. 

Professor of Mathematics Jeff Clark presented this month at the annual Joint Mathematics Meetings in San Diego.

The Faculty Research Series co-chairs Pamela Winfield and Mina Garcia hosted a panel discussion “Finding the Right Fit for Your Scholarship” on Nov. 15. The panelists focused on choosing the right publisher for the right audience and personal experience and advice for writing and publishing. 

A.L. Hook Associate Professor Chad Awtrey publishes a research paper with alumni Taylor Cesarski '17 and Peter Jakes '17 in the latest issue of an international number theory journal.
