More than 100 people from the Alamance County community gathered in the Schar Center Thursday morning to hear from President Connie Ledoux Book about what's new on campus and what's coming this academic year. 

President Connie Ledoux Book on the university's move from the Master's Universities category to the Doctoral Professional Universities category in the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.

The Camel City Jazz Orchestra serenaded the Elon community during a free public concert outside Martin Alumni Center Thursday afternoon. 

The fundraising drive held leading up to the inauguration of Book as Elon's ninth president in October 2018 will fund the purchase of 1,000 books for the local school system. 

The Elon community came together in Chicago on April 10 to celebrate the launch of the Elon LEADS Campaign, the university's historic and ambitious fundraising campaign.
