Managing Your Content

At Elon, each department is largely responsible for managing and updating the content on their own web pages. This decentralized approach allows departments to keep their information accurate and up-to-date, ensuring that our online presence remains vibrant and relevant. It is recommended every department appoint at least one designated website editor.

Need Additional Assistance?

If you require further help with content edits and your department doesn’t have a designated website editor, the next step is to contact the University Communications communications specialist assigned to your area. They are your point of contact for guidance and support in managing your website content.

However, if you still need assistance or your area doesn’t have a designated communications specialist, you can submit a request using an appropriate web support form listed below, or email web@elon.edu. Please note that these steps are intended for content updates, not technical issues (your website is “down”, or you’re receiving an error when editing content within WordPress).
