BFA Acting Alumni

In addition to on-campus production experience, the majority of Elon students graduate with professional credits on their resumes due to summer regional theatre work, internships and a wide variety of relevant experiences. Soon after graduation, Elon Acting alumni are working in Regional Theatre, Film & Television, Commercials, and National Tours. Some attend prestigious graduate program as well.  Highlighted below are a few examples of the recent work of our alumni.

Alyson McKenzie Wells (2012)

is currently in LA after filming the Television pilot The Ride as a lead. Since filming this pilot, she has also been on Help: The Series in a leading role.  Alyson has found success in LA with such films as The Agency, the Web series Ghost Matt Media and the Music Video DOE.

Brandon Curry (2011)

was recently in the National Broadway Tour of Ghost as the Subway Ghost.  When he’s not on tour, Brandon resides in New York City where he performed in the Off Broadway show Piggy Nation as Larry Lizzardo.  You can also find Brandon on the Web series Happiest People in New York.  He is also the co-founder of the showcase Youth Upright NYC that is hosted at Toshi’s Living Room.

Caitlin Noel Graham (2011)

is a model in New York City.  She has been featured on such shows as CBS’s Inside Edition and FOX’s Honda presentations.  She has been on National Commercials for Chopin Vodka and is a NARS Makeup and Redken Hair Model.  She has also performed at the Edmond Theatre in Rumors as Chris Gorman.
Lisa Goldstein

Claire Manship (2013)

has recently performed at Signature Theatre in Miss Saigon as Ellen.  Her other theatre credits include 11th Hr Theatre’s  Austentatious as Sam and Theatre West Virginia’s Footloose as Wendy Jo.  She is also a principle in the music video This Thing of Ours.

Heather Gilbert (2010)

works in New York City, most recently on the Off-Broadway production of Imagine Ocean as the swing puppeteer.  Prior to this she was the assistant director and understudy for the Off-Broadway production of The Furies.  She has also performed in HB Playwrights Theatre production of Rimers of Eldritch as Lena; as well as the Galli Theatre’s production of Snow White as Snow White.                                                                                 

Julia Gallagher (2012)

is performing in LA with BlackBoxTV’s Improv Artists as well as performing in the company of NVAT’s sketch group.  She has also co-starred in the V1 Entertainment pilot The Ride.  Prior to moving to LA, Julia was in Bare: A Pop Opera as Rory with Orlando’s Young Artists.

Andrew Frace

Lyndsay Burch (2013)

was with Berkshire Theatre Group as a Directing Apprentice, which led her to B Street Theatre as a Directing Apprentice.  She was also the assistant director for Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte’s nuVoices Play Festival.

Julian Elijah Martinez (2010)

performed with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company in their production of Romeo and Juliet as Romeo.  This led to his performance in Handspeak as Lonnie at the John F. Kennedy Centre.  Julian now finds himself at Yale University pursuing an MFA in Acting.

Katie Elinoff (2012)

has had the opportunity to perform in Actor’s Shakespeare Project as Phoebe in As You Like It.  She has also performed as Natalie in Distracted with Underground Railway Theatre.  Katie most recently found herself in production as a supporting character in the HBO miniseries Olive Kitteridge.
Matt Shingledecker

Kristina Adler (2012)

works in Atlanta and has performed in the Atlanta 48hr Film Festival’s Butterfly.  She has also been seen as Hotlanta and Breastia in ATL Shakespeare Tavern’s production of The Great Greek Puntheon.  She is also in a commercial for Ford Fusion and HBO’s  Eastbound and Down as a featured extra.

Logan T. Sutton (2013)

is New York City based and has most recently performed with Cabrini Rep’s Faux Snow as Royd.  He has also worked on Enloe Theatre’s production of Romeo and Juliet as Romeo.  Previously he has worked with Burning Coal Theatre in Columbinus as Freak/Eric Harris and was Skinhead Boy in Carswell Hall’s Polaroid Stories.

Mal Marcus (2013)

has performed with Custom Comedy Capers as a member of their improv group.  She has also performed with New Millennium Theatre Companies Silent Night of the Living Dead as Judy.  Mal also had the opportunity to be Cinderella in Pride Films and Play Stage 773’s,  A Play Date with Dyke Drama.

Mark Duncan (2008)

was an intern with Westport Country Playhouse before moving on to direct {Your Name Here}: A Queer Theatre Company’s production of Romeo and Juliet.  He then had the opportunity to be the Resident Director at Flea Theatre and is now the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of Stage Directors & Choreographers Society.

Mark St. Cyr (2010)

has performed with Island Shakespeare Company in Much Ado as Claudio, which led him to Riverside Theatre’s production of Twelfth Night as Sebastian.  Recently, he stared in The Slow Descent by Stonesthrow Productions; as well as being cast as a lead in Ride by Yella Fella Entertainment.

Mirai Booth Ong (2007)

has co-starred in ABC’s Scandal as well as NBC’s Life and Showtime’s Next Stop for Charlie.  Mirai has also performed with Young Stars Theatre in Nunsense as St. Mary Amnesia in addition to Morgan Wixson’s production of Chorus Line where she played Connie.

Paloma White (2012)

served as an acting intern with the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, which led her to performing with them in their production of Swimming in the Shallows as Donna.  Most recently, she served as Assistant Director for V1 Entertainments Films Pilot of The Ride.

Sarah Clancy (2012)

was an Acting Intern with B Street Theatre, which led her to performing in their Family Series production of Finding Our Voice in a leading role.  Sarah is currently in New York City where she recently Directed at Open Fields Children’s Theatre.

Sarah McAvoy (2011)

performed with American Stage’s August: Osage County as Jean, which led to working with freefall Theatre in their production of Romeo and Juliet where she played Juliet.  Sarah has also been in Android Rising as a featured actress as well as having done TV spots with Discovery ID.

Sean Liang (2013)

has been in a number of UCF and USC student films, which led him to the web series Supercool Creative.  Sean is now living in LA and is in production for the new feature film Survive, which he stars in with Erik Estrada.

Susan Slotoroff (2007)

has performed with the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina in Lend Me A Tenor as Maggie.  She can also be seen in Qbed Productions, In Between Men as well as national commercials for Hyatt Hotels.

Daniel Marin (2006)

has found success on such shows as ABC’s Trophy Wife and CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful.  He can also be found starring in Funny or Die’s Stanley & Callie.  Along with film, Daniel acts as the official voice for Burger King in Spanish and is working on national commercials for Verizon, Toyota and Miller Lite.

Tristan Bailey (2011)

works in LA where he can be seen in the USC student film Requesting Heaven as a lead.  This led to also leading in Bishop Lyons production of Number Please as well as acting as Nickelodean’s Red Ranger in Power Rangers.  You can also see Tristan in the National Commercials for Proactiv.
