What can I do with a Religious Studies major after graduation?

Anything.  The religious studies major serves as preparation for all walks of life.  Some of our majors have gone on to become lawyers, freelance writers, fundraisers for non-profit organizations, teachers, pastors, campus ministers, and Ameri-corps coordinators.  See our Alumni page for just a few examples.

Can I study abroad as a Religious Studies major?

Yes, we currently offer a study abroad winter term course in India, titled "India's Identities: Religion, Caste, and Gender in Contemporary South India." Students can also earn Religious Studies credit in a number of semester-long study abroad programs. See our Study Abroad page.

Can I double major?

Yes, in fact the Religious Studies Department encourages students to do interdisciplinary work in more than one interest field.
