The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) brings together undergraduates from across the country to share their research as oral presentations, poster presentations, performances or exhibits. This occurs in March or April at a host university.
Typically, the formal application for NCUR occurs in the preceding November. NCUR's application review process is very competitive. Elon's Undergraduate Research Program provides travel, lodging and registration funding for students approved by the program and accepted by the conference. The 2016 NCUR will be held at the University of North Carolina-Asheville on April 7-9.
If you plan to obtain Elon University funding to attend NCUR, you must receive formal approval from the undergraduate research office before submitting an abstract.
Please review the instructions below and complete the NCUR travel request by 5:00 pm on November 4, 2015.
Barring extenuating circumstances, students who receive NCUR travel funding from the Undergraduate Research Program are expected to submit an application to present at Elon's Spring Undergraduate Research Forum (SURF).
