Sunbrella Club in Schar Center to open Friday

The social gathering space for Elon fans is made possible through generous gifts from Glen Raven Inc. and Elon Trustee Allen E. Gant Jr. and his wife, Denise. The club's official opening is for the Elon men's basketball game against the University of North Carolina on Friday, Nov. 9.

Elon dedicates Richard W. Sankey Hall

The building dedication during Homecoming offered the opportunity to express gratitude for supporters of the project including Elon parents Jim and Beth Sankey of Charlotte, N.C. The building is named for Jim Sankey's father, a business leader in Canton, Ohio, who passed away in 2013. 

Elon celebrates donors at Inn at Elon groundbreaking

The official groundbreaking offered an opportunity to recognize the contributions of donors to the 80-room inn adjacent to the Koury Business Center that will open next fall. 

Elon honors Schar Center donors for their support of convocation center

During a donor appreciation event on the arena's main floor on Friday, Elon celebrated the generosity and vision of the nearly 30 families, individuals and businesses whose gifts made the convocation center possible.

Donors make major gift to establish Odyssey Program scholarships
<p>The generous gift from Elon Trustee Louis DeJoy and his wife, Dr. Aldona Wos, of Greensboro, North Carolina, will assist students with exceptional ability and high financial need from Title I schools in Guilford County.</p>
