Thank you to our hundreds of alumni who participated in this year's Month of Service! See photos of and read stories about the myriad service activities our alumni took part in for April's Nationwide Month of Service, sharing this special Elon tradition with communities far and wide.
In the Elon tradition of service-learning, all alumni are invited each April to participate in the Elon Alumni Association's month of service. Elon's Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement hosts several events during April for the campus community, such as the Special Olympics, Earth Week, Animal Awareness Week and an American Red Cross Blood Drive - adopt one of these ideas and bring it to your community!
Our regional chapters and clubs offer service events frequently, but especially in April, in which alumni are invited to participate.
If you don't live in an area served by a regional chapter or club but still want to participate, you can still get involved! Click here to learn more about how you can become an "army of one" for your community!
If you've participated in any type of service during the month of April, we want to know! Register your service activity via our online form. Please complete your form at least three weeks in advance of your service activity so we can send you a free Rise Up and Serve T-shirt for you and any guests who join you in service!
Please send a quick recap of your activity and some photos of your service to alumni@elon.edu. You might find yourself on E-Net or in The Magazine of Elon!
