The Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) is a federal regulation that sets consistent rules for managing sponsored research funding. It promotes transparency, accountability, and effective use of funds.

While originally created for federal grants, these principles are now widely recognized as best practices for all types of awards—federal, state, private, or industry.
