Research/Creative Interests

Generally speaking, I research self and group identity construction in online spaces. Specifically, I am currently focusing on the process of radicalization into Internet-based white power extremism.

Research/Creative Needs

I am mainly interested in mentoring undergraduate researchers through the process of their own digital ethnographic projects: idea generation, proposal, fieldwork, data analysis, & write-up.

Mentoring Style

I typically work one-on-one with students. I’m open to virtual, in-person, or hybrid models.
