For my disciplinary research, I study race, class, gender and sexuality identity construction in contemporary Spanish texts (mainly drama) through the lens of food studies. For my Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) I research intercultural learning (on campus and study away), for both students and faculty.
I mentor students based on the research projects they create, not my own.
Currently looking for a student to apply and work in these programs
- Any program/opportunity
I can mentor a student enrolled in 498/4998/499/4999 hours during these semesters
- Any start time
- I am willing to work with any student in the humanities and/or social sciences. Most of the students I’ve worked with thus far have been very interested in interdisciplinary work, which is how I myself approach research.
Interested? Please email me to set up a meeting.
