This virtual event aims to support and unite our community—especially young people and recent graduates—by offering guidance on navigating recent layoffs and a challenging job market. This virtual space will provide valuable resources and advice for those impacted by the current situation. Additionally, it will serve as a platform for networking, fostering connections, and addressing issues related to identity, such as ageism or other biases in the job market. Alumni, parents and friends of Elon are invited to come together for an Evening for Elon in LA. Connect with fellow members of the Elon community and hear a few highlights from campus at the Andaz West Hollywood. A reception including a hosted bar and hors d’oeuvres will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a program featuring remarks by President Connie L. Book. Registration opens in July.
