Professional development funds, also known as grants-in-aid, are available for staff who need extra funding to support professional development activities, including materials (e.g., books), tuition and registration fees, and/or travel costs.

Grant-in-aid funding typically ranges from $100-$300 per fiscal year. Grant-in-aid requests should be tied to your professional development goals.

Grant-in-aid applications must be submitted by May 15th in order to be processed for the current fiscal year.

Applying

  1. Download and complete the OLPD grant in aid application.
  2. Send the completed application to Rochelle Stojnic at rstojnic@elon.edu
  3. You will be notified within two weeks of submitting an application about whether or not you have been approved for funding (as well as the approved amount, if granted).
