Course Design Institute (CDI): Resilient Teaching – Self-Paced

Co-sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning, Teaching & Learning Technologies and Writing Across the University, along with partners Center for Engaged Learning and Center for Design Thinking

As an complement to synchronous virtual course design institute (CDI), this self-paced course incorporates key elements in designing courses that balance the structure and flexibility necessary for students and instructors to adapt and thrive under potentially uncertain and shifting conditions. In each module, you will explore how blending elements from virtual and in-person environment, synchronous and asynchronous activities, technologies, and strategies help to foster and nourish rich interactions among learners and instructors.

Teaching & Learning Technologies (TLT)

Virtual Consultations

As the university has adopted social distancing measures and asked community members to alter their personal interactions with others, TLT is offering virtual consultations only. Hosted online via Webex, these consultations allow staff to continue face-to-face discussion using video, screen sharing and other activities to assist faculty with remote learning. Schedule a consultation with TLT staff, who are available 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. In your request, please indicate several dates and times that work for you.
