Cultural Programs

The professor emeritus will lead efforts to preserve Elon University's history.

Speakers, readings, service projects and a special College Coffee at Elon University are among the many programs that commemorate the legacy of the slain American civil rights leader.

Wind ensemble will perform on May 13 in the McCrary Theatre at 7:30 p.m.

Music performance takes place at 7:30 p.m. in Whitley Auditorium with Stephen A. Futrell (conductor), Tim Hill (bass-baritone), guest tenor Timothy Sparks (UNC Chapel Hill) and Omri Shimron (piano) with a panel discussion held before at 6:30 p.m.

Elon's beautiful annual tradition of holiday tree lighting and luminarias will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Scott Plaza.
