Kernodle Center Volunteer Opportunities

The Kernodle Center for Service Learning is seeking volunteers for the Alamance Community College Literacy event.

Volunteers would be helping with packet pickup, handing out water on the course, or directing athletes on the course. The event is on April 8 from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Burlington Recreation & Parks Afterschool Programs needs volunteers and homework helpers during the week from September through May. 

Cummings High School needs volunteer judges for their science fair on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.  Contact Julia Wiley at julia_wiley@abss.k12.nc.us with questions or to sign up. 

Stop by the Kernodle Center to reconnect with staff and fellow alumni and to meet current students.

Light The Night is an evening walk that takes place in over 150 communities through the United States and Canada.

Volunteers needed on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Day of walk vounteer opportunities range from event set-up, registration, parking, walk route support, refreshment station, t-shirt station, start and finish line cheerleaders, and breakdown.
