Preventing Plagiarism

The best way to prevent plagiarism is to teach students how to find and use sources in discipline-specific ways. While English 110 provides an introduction to finding and evaluating sources and to synthesizing information from sources, we can't introduce students to every discipline's source-use conventions within a one-semester class.
