An English major with a concentration in Teaching Licensure requires the following courses:

An ENG 200-level literature course
(TLC majors must choose either ENG 221 or ENG 222)

An ENG 200-level or above writing course: ENG 200, 210-219, 310-319
(TLC majors must take ENG 219, Writing Studies Survey)

An ENG 200-level or above language course: ENG 201-209, 301-309
(TLC majors must take ENG 205, Grammar)

300-level literature course
(TLC majors must take ENG 363, Teaching Literature)

4 sh

300-level English course, preferably outside one's concentration
(Highly recommended: ENG 302, History of the English Language,
and ENG 321, Classical Literature)
