Kerry Richmond is the founder of the Positive Attitude Youth Center, which has been open in Alamance for over thirty years. When describing Alamance, Richmond stated that the county has been very supportive and that he had the best teachers growing up because of their continued support.
For example, Kerry states that his teachers ensured that he stayed focused on his academics after his mother had passed away, which meant a lot to him. Due to their continued support, he has still remained friends with his teachers after forty years.
Today, Kerry provides the same support and guidance to young people that he received from his teachers all those years ago.
