About Raja Schaar
Raja Schaar is an Associate Professor of Product Design at Drexel University’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design. Her work focuses on using design to address social challenges, particularly in health, education, and sustainability. Through interdisciplinary research and teaching, she explores how design and technology can promote equity, expand access to STEM education, and support more inclusive solutions. She also advocates for greater diversity and inclusion in the design field through her leadership with the Industrial Designers Society of America.
