About Gaby Hernández

Gaby Hernández is a multidisciplinary designer, researcher, and educator who serves as an associate professor and endowed chair of Graphic Design at the University of Arkansas. Her work explores visual storytelling, life-centered design, and the connections between heritage, visual memory, and design education. She also collaborates with marginalized and Indigenous communities to develop culturally responsive design practices that center community knowledge, inclusion, and diverse perspectives.
