Rashid Abdallah is a Palestinian American who grew up in Surda, a small town in Palestine, where an Israeli checkpoint caused daily struggles for Palestinians trying to enter.

In 2005, Rashid returned to the United States with his family to resume his education. In 2019, Rashid, his wife, and his children moved to Burlington where they found the Burlington Masjid. There, Rashid connected with the Imam and became actively involved in the Muslim community, particularly in empowering youth. He believes that investing in youth is vital for long-term community development.

After the war on Gaza, Rashid became an advocate for Palestine, showing his commitment to his community and his belief in solidarity and action. He continues to seek opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
