Reverend Donna Vanhook has been a trailblazer much of her life, constantly exploring new paths. Her dedication to community involvement has spanned years, beginning in law enforcement and serving for three years with the Morrow Town Task Force. She even ran for Mayor of Burlington.

Faith has played an important role in her upbringing. Her work in ministry includes Baptist ordination, obtaining a Masters in Divinity degree and authorized ministry with the United Church of Christ (UCC). Focused on womanist theology, she became the first woman to be ordained at Union Chapel UCC.

In all her service to communities, Reverend Vanhook emphasizes the importance of taking care of one’s own wellbeing and personal health, making it a priority.
