Positions in this sub-family provide planning and services related to supporting effective communication between the university and its students, employees, alumni, and the public in order to advance the university’s mission. Digital Communications & Marketing

Positions in this sub-family are responsible for the development and design of web-based and digital marketing strategies using appropriate tools including various social media platforms, web writing, online content strategy, search engine optimization, and online infrastructure development.

Graphic Design

Positions in this sub-family are responsible for creating visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire and inform consumers. Key responsibilities include developing the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines and corporate reports related to the university, including web and multimedia.

Multimedia & Creative Services

Positions in this sub-family are responsible for the production and delivery of various multimedia deliverables, including video, photography, and other digital output to support the University’s communication plans and initiatives. Duties include determining client need, managing internal project teams, and utilizing creative best practices to deliver quality results.

Media Relations

Positions in this sub-family are responsible for maintaining, developing, and improving relations and communications between the institution and the public. Activities include: Relationship management with clients and other key stakeholders; Coordinating meetings and other public relations events.
