Nutshell: Just like television and radio is now but with lots more channels (all with the same stuff).
Vision:Slowly but surely, the Internet is changing from the free for all that is was in its early days to just another way to sell stuff to the masses. It has already been taken over by greedy corporate pinks that are going to cram the square peg of commercialism into the round hole of personal communications freedom. There will be a few major content providers and retailers with a lock on most of the bandwidth. The rest will be like public access cable.
