Kirstin Ringelberg Receives Alliance for Full Acceptance Grant

Kirstin Ringelberg, associate professor of art history and coordinator of Elon's LGBTQ Office, with assistance from student Laura Lee Sturm, was awarded $1,630 from the Alliance for Full Acceptance to support sending student Spectrum members to LGBTQQ conferences.

Three Communications professors given PRIDE Award

Communications assistant professor Lucinda Austin and associate professors Lee Bush and Barbara Miller have been awarded the national 2012 PRIDE Award for “Outstanding Contribution to Public Relations Education” for their publications in the 2011 Special Issue on Pedagogy in the journal Public Relations Review.
