The Information Science major is new beginning Fall 2011. This new state-of-the-art major welcomes incoming students and current students throughout the university as well as those who were previously considering the CIS major.

New students enrolling Fall 2011 should choose the new ISC major that is replacing the CIS major. The CIS major is only open to students enrolled prior to Fall 2011 who have completed CIS 216 by Spring 2011. CIS majors must take CIS 330 no later than Fall 2011.

- Geographical Information Systems - interdisciplinary minor for which Computing Sciences provides supporting courses

Computer Science/Engineering - dual-degree engineering program resulting in two degrees: a bachelor's degree from Elon and a bachelor's degree in engineering from an engineering school. Students spend the first three years at Elon and approximately two more years at an engineering school in this program.
