About Moseley Center

The Moseley Center is an institutional resource dedicated to providing service and support for the advancement of the campus and the community.

Elon University's $7 million Moseley Center, opened in 1994, was designed to serve as the focal point of this growing private campus. Moseley Center replaced the Long Student Center, which was converted to classroom and office space and houses the Department of Psychology.

This 74,000-square-foot, $7 million facility serves as the hub of campus activity, featuring offices for student organizations, conference rooms, a fireplace lounge, campus mail service, the Octagon Cafe, a coffee shop, and much more.

Moseley Center is named in honor of Elon alumnus Furman Moseley and his wife, Susan. A formal dedication was held April 28, 1995, with former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher speaking at the ceremony.
