Elon University's $7 million Moseley Center, opened in 1994, was designed to serve as the focal point of this growing private campus. Moseley Center replaced the Long Student Center, which was converted to classroom and office space and houses the Department of Psychology.
The first level features:
- The Campus Bookstore
- Octagon Cafe
- Modern indoor and outdoor dining areas
- Campus Mail Center
- The Zone (Student Lounge and Irazú Coffee coming soon)
- Hearth Lounge
- McKinnon Hall, which has a seating capacity of 450, and is easily divided into three smaller meeting rooms to allow more flexibility
- Pan-Geos, which offers pastas, salads, and wraps
- Freshens, which offers icecream and smoothies
