Alumni Admissions Ambassadors serve as key alumni volunteers who assist in the admissions efforts of the university by providing personal attention to a group of students invited to join the Class of 2028.

The college search process can be daunting, yet alumni interaction can make all the difference. Accepted students can benefit from speaking with a trustworthy source who knows first-hand what it’s like to attend Elon.

Each ambassador will receive a short list of accepted students to connect with. Ambassadors will answer student questions, share their “Elon story,” and highlight the university’s impact on their lives professionally and personally. In addition, ambassadors will help to emphasize that Elon University has a broad national and international alumni network for students to connect with during and after their time at the university. Our hope is that these conversations set Elon apart from other institutions they may pursue and affirm their decision to attend Elon in the fall.

Below is a brief overview of expectations for this volunteer role:

• Attend a 45-minute orientation session in late January

• Engage in 3-5 one-on-one conversations with prospective students over Zoom

• Have the opportunity to connect with potential students and share your love of Elon

• Provide feedback via a survey at the conclusion of the program

Applications to serve as an Ambassador for the class of 2028 are being accepted on a rolling basis through January 5, 2024. Please contact Haley Turczynski G’24, Graduate Apprentice for Alumni Engagement, with any questions.

Applications are closed at this time.
