My internship with Elon Counseling Services has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I received amazing support from my supervisor and the entire staff, learned so much, and truly enjoyed my time here. I’m grateful for the opportunity and thankful that I ended up in such a positive environment.
-Maetzin, North Carolina A & T State University, Class of 2025

Having the opportunity to be a trainee in such a supportive, caring, and exciting environment has exceeded any expectations I could have ever imagined for a training site. I know without a shadow of a doubt that the skills I developed here will help me continue to do meaningful work with clients throughout my career.

My internship experience has been excellent! I am grateful for the many opportunities to co-facilitate group therapy and workshops, have regular case consultation time with several colleagues and supervisors, professional development opportunities, and mostly a warm/welcoming and supportive environment.

Elon’s Counseling Services Training and Development Program provided me with a supportive team environment to complete my internship; direct and indirect work with students; and professional development opportunities.
