On March 13th, 2024 Elon graduate admissions invites all Elon students and employees interested in graduate education opportunities at Elon to an informational dinner reception in Turner Theatre. Learn about the graduate programs Elon has to offer.

Elon students and current employees are invited to join Elon Graduate Admissions in the Snow Atrium and Turner Theatre at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, to learn about unique pathways to Elon graduate education as a valued member of the Elon community. A catered dinner will be provided and vegetarian options are available.

Elon’s graduate programs offer stimulating intellectual communities built on close interaction with faculty, academic engagement with peers and a university environment fully committed to inquiry and research. The nine graduate programs and their respective schools have received national accreditation and are recognized as academically rigorous programs at an affordable cost.

Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education

  • Master of Arts in Higher Education (MHE): The Master of Arts in Higher Education offered through the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education builds on the strength of Elon as a national leader in active and engaged learning. Students are immersed in the study of higher education in a student-centered environment rooted in hands-on, experiential learning with a global perspective. Enrollment is full-time in this two-year, 36-hour program that incorporates study away, two internships, a paid apprenticeship, and a capstone project.

  • Master of Education in Innovation (M.Ed): Elon’s 30-hour Master of Education in Innovation (M.Ed.) is an online part-time, distance education program designed for teachers who are active educators in the K-12 setting. Educators outside of the K-12 setting will be considered on a case-by-case basis based on their ability to complete assignments and practice requirements of the program. All courses are delivered online in the summer, spring and fall semesters with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous classes. The M.Ed program is intentionally designed to disrupt practitioners’ traditional concepts of schooling and motivate teachers toward more progressive visions and praxis.

Martha and Spencer Love School of Business

  • Master of Science in Accounting (MSA):  Elon’s Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) will prepare you to enter the job market with the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve your professional goals and gain a competitive edge in a growing and evolving field. Leave the program ready to sit for the CPA exam and prepared for a rewarding career in financial accounting, auditing, taxation and more.
  • Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA)*: Prepare for a competitive career in the field of business analytics by mastering core business essentials such as marketing and management, while developing your skills in predictive modeling, business data mining, data visualization, and linear programming. The Elon MSBA STEM-certified program is designed for innovators and problem solvers who want to effect change at all levels of business. Open to people from all educational and professional backgrounds, Elon’s MSBA fits the career needs of both recent graduates and working professionals.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)*: Designed for working professionals in the area, Elon’s part-time MBA program can be customized to meet your specific needs. Earn your degree in as little as 21 months or set your own pace. Classes are held in the evenings from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Analytics: The Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Analytics is a great option for working professionals in healthcare domains, general data analysts seeking a career in healthcare and individuals aspiring to enter the field of data science without committing to a full degree. This certificate will prepare healthcare professionals and data analytics experts to transform modern healthcare through cutting-edge information and analytics technologies. (This is not a full graduate degree, but all courses can be transferred into the MSBA or 9 courses can be transferred into the MBA)

School of Health Sciences

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy: Elon’s three-year, full-time Doctor of Physical Therapy program emphasizes a patient-centered approach to the profession. The program immerses students in science and research while teaching them the value of respect and communication. Forty weeks of hands-on clinical practicums reinforce the solid academics taught in the classroom. One hundred percent of Elon DPT students find employment after graduation.
  • M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies: Elon’s 24-month, full-time program prepares graduates to think critically and act skillfully to meet expanding health care needs in local and global communities. Students will immerse themselves in a curriculum structured around active learning strategies through collaborative work with Elon’s faculty, scholars and practitioners in the field. Students emerge in two years as graduates prepared to employ the most current knowledge to care for patients’ physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs.

School of Law

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.)*Elon University School of Law provides students with an array of experiential learning opportunities, including full-time residencies in the practice of law and professional mentoring that readies students for success at all levels of law and society. The school’s rigorous curriculum, taught by a highly accomplished faculty, prepares excellent and ethical lawyers who have the knowledge, skills and judgment to make significant contributions in service to clients, the profession and society.
