What to Expect
International Students will received detailed move-in instructions and dates from the Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies. International students begin arriving Wednesday, August 22, 2012. The Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies facilitates an International Orientation August 23 & August 24, 2012. They will help with your transition in the first few days before the rest of the new students arrive on August 24. You will then participate in New Student Orientation from August 24 - August 27. Classes begin August 28.
Mark your calendar: Saturday, August 25th, 2012 at 9 a.m.
The Elon University New Student Convocation held Under the Oaks is your first official function as a college student. At Convocation, students, parents and faculty are introduced to each other as a community. Because this is such an important event in your college career, appropriate dress is required. Neat sport clothes (such as sundresses, slacks and button-down shirts) will do just fine.
