What to Expect
International Students will received detailed move-in instructions and dates from the Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies. International students begin arriving Wednesday, August 24, 2011. The Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies facilitates an International Orientation August 25 & August 26, 2011. They will help with your transition in the first few days before the rest of the new students arrive on August 26. You will then participate in New Student Orientation from August 26 - August 29. Classes begin August 30.

The Elon University New Student Convocation held Under the Oaks is your first official function as a college student. At Convocation, students, parents and faculty are introduced to each other as a community. Because this is such an important event in your college career, appropriate dress is required. Neat sport clothes (such as sundresses for females and slacks and button-down shirts for males) will do just fine.
