Headline: No More Baby Bells

Nutshell: Wireless/VoIP will force the Baby Bells to fold.

Vision: Old Telcos will be forced to amalgamate, etc. We will go through the same thing with telcos that the Internet boom did - the small and agile new companies will become the new force.

The Baby Bells cannot replace/adopt new technology fast enough because they faced too much structure/enforcement (FCC).

Their current stronghold on customers will be their only way to continue a profit. Customers will dump the traditionals in favor of the new companies with new ideas like Vonage/eBay/Google/etc.
