Name: Nina From: Iowa Bio: Writer of software instructions Area of Expertise: Author/Editor/Journalist Topic: Communication Headline: Decline in Creativity Nutshell: The ability to think, study, and create will decline as younger generations are entertained by computers rather than finding their own imaginations. Vision: As people write and create on computers we lose a rich context of revisions, old letters, and diary entries thaat currently exist on paper. Children who spend too much time on ccomputer games don't have to stretch their imagainations. I see a dulling of creativity - just look at all of the reality television shows. Does no one have an original thought? Date Submitted: 11/12/2004 |
