Name: Travis Willis From: Tennessee Bio: Internet User, Civil Engineer Area of Expertise: Advocate/Voice of the People Topic: General, Overarching Remarks Headline: Totally Interactive World Nutshell: Virtual Reality will enable us to actually experience things from the comfort of our very homes. Vision: Just put on a suit or helmet, push a button, and hold on. I think we will be able to fully interact with people around the globe, be able to virtually shake their hand, and built-in language translators will enable us to even have a normal conversation. This is not to mention actually going to shop in your favorite stores without leaving home and actually walking "through" them to pick out what you like. It would be a whole new world out there if this happened. Date Submitted: 11/18/2004 |
