Name: Lisa Good From: Florida Bio: Magnetic theory researcher Area of Expertise: Research Scientist/Illuminator Topic: Technology Headline: Most memory vulnerable to strong magnets Nutshell: Within a few decades, a highly magnetically charged comet will pass close enough to the earth to render all telecom & computers ineffective Vision:
We all know that a magnetic on a floppy disk destroys the data. Or next to a network cable, wrecks the network. Some comets have some incredibly strong magnetic charges. The comet schedule for 3/1/2018 will probably be close enough and strong enough to take us back to the industrial (pre electronic communications) stage.
