Scholarships

Elon University offers a variety of need-based and merit-based scholarships for students. Among these opportunities are Fellows Programs (e.g., Honors Fellows, Elon College Fellows) that include a two year research project provided with generous funding for equipment and conferences travel. In addition, the Lumen Prize is available to sophomores where up to $15,000 can be used for tuition reimbursement.

Society of Physics Students

The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is a professional association explicitly designed for students. Membership, through collegiate chapters, is open to anyone interested in physics. The only requirement for membership is that you be interested in physics. Weekly meetings include fun events like lasers and lasagna, star parties, and museum tours. The Writing Center

The Elon Writing Center assists students in writing for a wide range of audiences in various formats. Students can drop-by without an appointment, or formally request one with a consultant, to help with abstract preparation, poster design, etc.
