Resources for Teaching & Learning
A central focus of CATL’s mission is to foster innovative, evidence-based teaching and learning practices and critical reflection through programs & services designed for faculty working in a range of teaching and learning contexts.
These programs focus on the art and science of college teaching, from effective course or assignment design, to recent learning science research and its potential classroom application, to methods for effective (and efficient) grading and feedback or even ways to fine-tune common teaching methods, such as discussion-leading, interactive lecturing, or teaching with case studies.
On our website, you can find workshops or programs, apply for a grant or fellowship as you investigate student learning, or schedule an individual consultation targeted to your teaching and learning question.
